With nearly a decade of experience in building strategic alliances and leading impactful projects, Marcia brings an unwavering focus on collaboration and innovation.As a Black, disabled Rastafari woman, Marcia’s journey has instilled in her a profound understanding of the systemic barriers faced by marginalised communities, which fuels her dedication to creating pathways for social equity and economic justice.
As the founder of Black Mama Earth Limited and a Female co-chair of the Global Afrikan Congress UK Elder. Marcia has been a steadfast advocate for social and economic justice, lending her voice to critical initiatives like reparation advocacy and support for the Windrush generation, the Rastafari, and the maroon community. Her work has earned her awards and recognition and her involvement spans across grassroots and international networks that drive change and amplify underrepresented voices.
At Sedulous, Marcia’s role is more than building partnerships; she forges bridges that align Sedulous CIC’s mission with a network of stakeholders who share the vision of lasting change. Her focus on creating partnerships that address systemic inequalities ensures Sedulous CIC not only meets immediate goals but also builds a foundation for sustained impact. Whether working with government agencies, community leaders, or funders, Marcia brings together the resources, expertise, and shared purpose needed to drive initiatives that transform lives.
