Starting a new chapter is always exciting, and I am thrilled to embark on this  journey with Sedulous, a community-interest company dedicated to driving social change. Through participatory research, collaborative design, and impactful program evaluation, Sedulous places communities at the heart of transformation. Its mission resonates deeply with my values as a financial advocate. With its diverse team and unwavering resilience, Sedulous is poised to empower marginalised communities and amplify their voices in meaningful ways.

As a lived experience consultant, my mission with Sedulous is to amplify the voices often overlooked in decision-making processes. Drawing from my own experiences navigating systemic challenges, I am passionate about bridging the gap between policy and practice. I aim to ensure that the initiatives we design are not only innovative but also truly effective, inclusive, and grounded in the realities faced by the communities we serve.

I am particularly dedicated to addressing the financial well-being of individuals during times of economic uncertainty. The cost-of-living crisis has underscored the urgent need for solutions that alleviate the stresses and strains faced by so many. My focus lies in fostering financial empowerment and resilience, ensuring that communities have the tools and resources to navigate these challenges with confidence.

In my role at Sedulous, I am responsible for ensuring that lived experience perspectives are at the forefront of our projects. My responsibilities include contributing to research and design processes, collaborating with stakeholders, and advocating for equitable solutions that address systemic barriers. I bring financial expertise, analytical skills, and personal insights to enrich Sedulous’s initiatives, fostering practical and impactful outcomes.

By supporting programs that enhance financial literacy, improve access to resources, and address economic disparities, I aim to help individuals and communities achieve greater stability and opportunity. I am also passionate about promoting well-being during times of financial trauma, recognising the critical intersection between economic hardship and mental health.
