Voices for Change: Building Equity Together

Joining Sedulous CIC marks an exciting new chapter in my journey—one rooted in passion, experience, and a deep commitment to driving meaningful change for underrepresented communities. Throughout my career, equity, inclusion, and social justice have been at the core of my work, and Sedulous provides the perfect platform to amplify that mission.

Having previously contributed to the award-winning Cost of Living & Multiple Long-Term Health Conditions project with this incredible team, I’ve seen firsthand the professionalism, dedication, and heart that form the foundation of Sedulous’s success. That experience reaffirmed my belief in the power of community-led solutions and the transformative impact of amplifying often overlooked voices. It inspired me to continue working with a team that values authenticity, respect, and genuine community engagement.

I’m excited to build on this momentum at Sedulous, knowing that we’re poised for even greater achievements. Together, we’ll continue breaking down barriers, fostering empowerment, and driving systemic change, one project, one partnership, and one community at a time.

A key focus of my work is supporting Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking communities in London. Through Bilingual Community Co-Design, I will facilitate their participation in shaping services and initiatives that reflect their unique needs. Inclusive service delivery is not just an aspiration—it’s a necessity, and I am excited to lead this effort in close collaboration with my team.

At Sedulous, we don’t just aim to uplift individuals—we work toward fostering sustainable, community-wide growth. By connecting diverse voices with actionable solutions, I envision a future where everyone, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to thrive. This journey isn’t just about creating change; it’s about building lasting relationships and transforming communities through collaboration, inclusion, and advocacy. I am especially inspired by its diverse leadership—led by women, ethnic minorities, individuals with disabilities, and neurodivergent voices—forming a deep connection to our communities. This leadership model ensures that our approach is inclusive and genuinely representative of those most impacted by systemic inequality.

With my unique perspective, I am dedicated to exploring how we can close the gaps in services and policies, ensuring they are more responsive and relevant to the lived experiences of the people they aim to serve.

I see Sedulous becoming a leading force for social justice in London and beyond.
